WOMEN OF IMPACT IN THE BIBLE (SERIES 4)

WOMEN OF IMPACT IN THE BIBLE (SERIES 4)

Hello Awesome Woman of Faith, it is the concluding part of this inspiring series and i pray that you wont just be the reader or hearer of the word but the doer of it so that your profiting may appear unto all.

Esther (Esther 4:15-16; 5:1-8; 7:1-10)

Esther, an orphan and slave in a foreign country was taken into the kings palace to be turned into one of his harem women and yet became the great queen who delivered Israel from extinction.

How the supposed dumb, slave beauty pageant with no background could was able to be made queen which later became a mighty instrument in the hand of God Almighty?

v She was teachable: Esther humbled herself to learn and follow the instruction of the person in charge of the harem even the one of her uncle Modecai not thinking she is in palace and he is just a common gate mate.
She followed and listened to instructions from Modecai even when she has become queen. She has a teachable spirit.

Which authority figure instructions are u ignoring that is crucial to destiny?

v She was fearless: Being fearless or bold in the face of a challenge is a mark of greatness. Even when Esther knows the danger involved in going to see the king without being summoned, she went knowing that the deliverance of Israelites depends on it.
She took the step of faith and God honored it.

Which step or action to greatness are you stalling on?

v She put God first: She fasted and prayed for God’s help before she headed out to meet the king. She didn’t trust in her own beauty, eloquent or position but in Gods’ and He intervened.
Esther was a woman of God first before a queen and she showed that in her order of actions.

v  She package herself for Favour: “Favour is a function of your packaging”--- Akinyemi Davids
Esther approached the king in a royal robe and she was granted audience by the king. Her attitude determined her altitude.
Humans are moved by physical sight and God is moved by the motive of the heart.

What do God see in your heart and what message is your outlook sending to people?

Esther though a beauty queen with no business with the nation’s matter in her days took responsibility and corresponding actions which results in the greatest deliverance of Israelite from extinction plotted by the Devil. She crushed the head of the serpent in her generation and through her hand Israelites were preserved.

All of these women though from different background, faced different challenges but had something in common, they impacted their generation.
They walked through history and left their footprint in the sand of times.
They made themselves “Available” for the masters use despite their weaknesses.

They were ORDINARY women who did EXTRAORDINARY things.

They were women of impact in the Bible.

They are DEBORAH, RAHAB and ESTHER.

Do you desire to be like them?

Yes You Can; Yes You Will if only you will make yourself available.

Availability matters to God more than Ability.

Woman You are more than this!!!
