She has known God as her maker and creator and therefore she is made in his image and likeness with God’s communicable attributes.

This Godly woman has a bowel of mercy therefore can be trusted to be concerned with the well being of those around her irrespective of their attitude towards her.

She hears from God and takes her direction and instructions from him and because God knows her, he shares secrets with her, reveals to her the plans of the enemy and directs her to counter or nullify them.

God trusts her with other people’s secrets, giving her messages to people and reveals his plans for them to her.

God burdens her heart with the plights of others by dropping names or showing pictures and telling her the needs of people and asking her to praying for them. Through this ways God uses her to accomplish his purposes in the lives of his people.

She is separated unto God, delights herself in the lord, serving God with all her heart without seeking to be noticed or rewarded by man.

As a woman you should know and understands that Godliness is a mandate not a choice or an alternative lifestyle.

You should know that to be the kind of woman whose life glorifies God you would need to be >>>

1) Discipline in the place of prayer. Prayer in the life of a Godly woman must take top priority. You need to be discipline in your daily time alone with God. it is important to have a set time to be alone with God ; the early hour of the day preferably.

You as a Godly woman should be on fire for God through the constant charging of your spirit man regularly through the word of God which renew your mind daily.

2) Discipline in obedience to God is key in becoming a Godly woman. You as a Godly woman must put the will of God as first priority in your life. You must to obey God and to live by His word daily.

You as a Godly woman must live your life by faith in God trusting that he would bring to pass all that He has promised.

  Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Phil 1:6

You as a woman of God must seek God’s guidance on all issues living in the consciousness of his presence and as such the glory of God is constantly manifested in you.

You as a woman of God should ensure that your words, thoughts and actions should be in alignment with the word of God through the regular studying and meditating of the word of God.

You as a Godly woman must have a set time of making intercession for different type of people and not just family and friends. You should bear the burdens and interceded regularly. You should learn how to pray until something happens. You perseveres and persists in prayers knowing that

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
¹¹ So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

You as a Godly woman must take your position of authority in Christ Jesus and wields this authority in the place of prayer.

You as a woman of God must and should build yourself up into a dwelling place of God thereby letting your whole existence bring glory to God’s name and his kingdom’

Woman you are more than this! 

THE MAKING OF A GODLY WOMAN ( PART 1)

                     THE MAKING OF A GODLY WOMAN.

God Almighty created woman to perfect his creation. It was after the creation of woman that God pronounced blessings on mankind.

²⁷ So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.²⁸ Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Gen 1: 27-28

It is important to note that you as a woman holds a special place in creation. You were created in order that the purpose and blessings of God would be accomplished. There would be no fruitfulness and multiplication of mankind without the woman so therefore you as a woman should know that God places lots of value on you.

You should see yourself as precious to God and that he has a unique place for you in his creation plans.

You should know that God has so much more plans for you than who, what and where you are right now!

You should know that He desire that you should be called by his name. The bible talks about this in Isaiah 62:2

The Gentiles shall see your righteousness,
And all kings your glory.
You shall be called by a new name,
Which the mouth of the Lord will name. Isaiah 62:2

God Almighty wants your life to reflect him, He want to be the aura that oozes out of your life, He want to be the very essence of your existence.

He wants you to be a Godly woman. Without you have to talk about Him, He wants your life to reflect Him.

Godliness for you as a woman is not supposed to be an alternative but a way of life. It’s not supposed to a thing for Sunday or mid week service. Its suppose to be your very lifestyle.

Please note that it is not every woman who is born again that is a Godly woman though a Godly woman must be born again. It is not every woman who serves in the house of God that is a Godly woman though a Godly woman must serve in God’s house. It’s not every woman who speaks in tongues that is a Godly woman though a Godly should be baptized with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and should operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Who then is a Godly Woman?

In the book of Zech 13:9, the bible gave the picture or blueprint of what a Godly woman should look like

 I will bring the one–third through the fire,
Will refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them.
I will say, ‘This is My people’;
And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”  Zech 13: 9

A Godly Woman is the one who has being melted by God, tried through the fire of trials and challenges, refined as gold and through it all she cleaves to God and as a result she has become unto God a name, a praise, a glory and a vessel unto honor for the master.

This is a woman who may have had to live with difficulties, faces challenges, oppositions, persecution and oppression.

She is a woman who returns good for evil and live a lifestyle of forgiveness so that there is no bitterness in her and she trust God to give her wisdom and fight her battles for her.

This is a woman who knows that her joy comes from the lord who has her life in his hand and because she trusts in Him, He protects and shields her.

A Godly woman sees herself as a representative of Jesus Christ wherever  she is and as such the Holy spirit rules and controls all situations around here.

Her relationship and walk with God helps her not to seek the approval of men but her desire is to please God and to be acceptable unto Him.

This is the woman, who finds hr sufficiency always in God, gives God first place in all her endeavors, relationships, interactions and she is totally committed to the will of God at all times.

This woman knows God and is known of God.

Woman as a leader part 3

                       Woman As a Leader (Deborah and Esther as a case study )  part 3

In the book of judges 5:6-8, Deborah chose to arose and take the responsibility of leading the children of Israel. She saw the breakdown in the lifestyle, faith and purpose of God in Israel in her time and took up the responsibility of being the middle person, the channel in which God can implement changes in her generation.

No matter the kind of evil you think you have seen or seeing in the generation, it’s not new under the sun. its has happened before and  someone at that time took it upon herself to inspire and implement change

Deborah arose up a mother in Israel

.

The bible talks about it in the book of judges 4:4 that Deborah was a wife and also a prophetess but despite her busy life and career, she still put to use the gifting and talents that God has placed inside of her for a time as that.

                Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, judged Israel at that time

How are you putting to use in God’s kingdom those connections, gifting, resources, abilities and talents despite your busy life or career.

God gave you all of these things for a reason, which is the establishment of his kingdom (plans and purpose) on earth. (Matthew 6:33)

Also in the book of Esther 4:13-17 and also in chapter 5:1-3

We saw how Esther took it upon herself to intercede and fight for the survival and restoration of her generation.

I said” fight” because it is a battle left too long alone by Christian women which must be actively and aggressively fought in this generation.

Esther had to actively get involved and aggressively fight the evil against her generation for her to get tangible result

.

You have discussed it enough, you have complained about it enough and you have looked and analyze it enough Now! Its time to arise like Esther and Deborah to fight, intercede and to lead this generation for the purpose of God to be established in your generation.

You as an older Christian woman, how are you impacting the lives of the younger generation of women God has placed on your path and all around you?

We are at a time in the world where selfishness and self centeredness has abounded. Where the younger generation cannot see the foot print or good example of whom to follow and this has really affect the generation women both younger and older in the Christian community and which in turn has affected the body of Christ

.

You as an older woman must know that there is an instruction and commandment for you in the bible in the book of Titus 2:3-5 to mentor and lead the younger generation women.

³ Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. ⁴ Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, ⁵ to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Titus 2:3-5

According to God’s plan and purpose, older women in faith are” suppose to” position themselves to lead or mentor these younger generation in the things and ways of God.

As an older woman of faith, what kind of examples or standards are you setting?

If any fault or evil is seen in the younger generation then it’s your fault.

You as a woman of faith is not suppose to complain about it but start taking tangible steps to correct it.

There is something placed inside of you that is meant to solve that problem and that’s why you are noticing it. Problems that annoy or trigger you off are meant for you to solve.

Maybe you are here for a time like this!

You might say “I don’t have the necessary resources, qualifications or connections to make a change in that area” Well! That might be true but you have a gift from God that can be maximize to bring about the solution to that challenge and that is your ability or privilege to talk to God about it.

Sister! You can and need to start talking to God about those things that you are noticing in your society, generation and the world around you to be able to bring about changes.

Enough of pointing of fingers or complaining, it’s time to create that change in the place of prayer and in speaking the word of God over those situations.

It’s time for you as a Christian woman to take charge of these situations and chase the devil out of them.

It’s time to start rebuilding the ruins of the foundation of the younger generation.

It’s time to stoop to conquer.

Woman you are more than this!

WOMAN AS A SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP(part 2)

The bible made it known in Genesis 1: 27 – 28

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1: 27 – 28

As a woman, when God looks at you he doesn’t see you differently or inferior to the man. When he sees or looks at you, he sees you in his image and likeness.

As a woman, you are in God’s image and you carry the glory and power of the creator of the whole universe inside of you. You are a daughter of Abraham and you carry inside of you the seed of greatness awaiting your recognition and cultivation. You are not just someone or something in one corners with no significant. You are very special and unique in the plans and purpose of God on earth; you are a unique part of his kingdom plans on earth and you are more than what or who you think you are!

In your kingdom  as a Christian woman, the word “ leadership ” has a total different purpose and method from the world system that you know.

The world system sees leadership as being  “lord over all” but in your own kingdom leadership means service to God and serving humanity.

Jesus explained this kind of leadership to his disciples before he was crucified in Luke 22: 25-27

  ²⁵ And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ ²⁶ But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves. ²⁷ For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves.

This world system again sees leadership as being competitive and rivalry but in God’s kingdom a unique space and community for your own gifting and talents have been created just for you awaiting your recognition.

The moment you gave your life to Christ, you are no longer governed by the world system or laws again. You are now an ambassador of God here on earth and you are governed by the laws and principles of God’s kingdom.

In the bid to discover themselves, some women have tried filling this vacuum that they feel inside of them through diverse ways which have been perverted by the devil and has been channeled wrongly.

This is not about women empowerment or liberation of women movement or about gender equality but instead it is about self discovery of the being called “WOMAN” and the real purpose of her creation in God’s plans on this earth.

You as a Christian woman is called onto a leadership, into the most highest kingdom service ever existing which is the kingdom of God. This leadership is not according to the system of this world but according to the principles of God’s kingdom.

You are royalty, a princess and a special being in your own right. You are called to leadership by the creator of the whole universe himself. Oh! How great a priviledge, honour and favour you have in your kingdom.

¹⁴ “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. MATTEW  5:14

In the passage above, Jesus explained the type of leadership Christians has been called into.

Woman, you are the light of your world, light is for leadership, anyone that holds a lighted candle in darkness naturally and automatically leads.

You are not created to sit back, watch and complain but you have been loaded and called to lighten up that space that you occupy through service to God and to humanity.

WOMAN AS A SPIRITUAL LEADER (Deborah and Esther as case study)

Every man and woman was created by God for leadership, to lead, to be the light of the world, to live and manifest as a city, not a non entity or a low life but a carrier of God’s person and glory to the world around them.

When God created you as a woman, he had a greater and far more glorious plans and purposes in his mind for you than that point or level you are right now!

Spiritual leadership from generation to generation has been one of the major tools that God Almighty has used to channel his causes and lead his people or children to their promised land.

Spiritual leadership is also one of the most crucial blueprints that God Almighty has used to bring his plans and purposes to be established here on earth.

The system of this world has made leadership a gender thing  and this has caused a great vaccum in the fulfillment of Gods purpose here on earth.

Women has been made to believe and programmed that they are not part of the leadership mandate of God’s kingdom from creation.

Many women have lived a life that is void of purpose or impact wasting the great investment of grace and power that God Almighty has painstakingly put inside of them because of their lack of knowledge of who and what they are in Christ.

The world has termed women as weaker vessel, baby factory, second best, whore etc but I like to inform and remind YOU!  Woman that you are more than who and what you think you are or what people say you are. 

Woman you are more than this!

Woman as a Custodian of God’s Seed - Part 2

The Oxford Advanced Dictionary defines custodian as “a person who takes responsibility for taking care of or protecting something”.

Woman as a custodian of God’s seed has been ordained and mandated to take care, protect and take responsibility for the all round wellbeing of God’s seed in her custody.

You are not the absolute owner of that child or children but just a partner, caretaker or custodian and as a woman it’s a rare privilege and honour to be in partnership with the Almighty God Himself in the business of nurturing His seeds.

God vowed in the beginning to the serpent that your seed as a woman would destroy the head of the serpent (devil).

So as a woman you need to strategically position yourself to be able to fulfill this great mandate of heaven and be used by God Almighty.

No matter the challenges you face in raising these Godly treasures, you must never see them as a burden but as blessings from God.

God Almighty has a reason for sending that child or children your way and you should never take that rare privilege for granted.

The Bible talks in the book of Psalms 127:3-5 about the purpose of children given to you:

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. 5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate. Psalms 127:3 – 5

Furthermore in the book of Genesis 22 : 16 – 18, God promised or said concerning Abraham our Father that it is through his seed that the gate of the enemy shall be taken and through these seeds that all the families of the earth be blessed.

"By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son 17 blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. 18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice." Gen 22: 16 – 18

That child or children given to you is not yours but the Lord’s .Every decision, action, victory, challenges needed in the course of caring for and taking responsibility for these precious seed(s) should be channeled to the giver of these treasures or gift Himself.

You as a woman have been given the rare privilege to bring forth and nurture these precious seed of God and because of this great task, unusual strength in terms of grace, wisdom and patience to fulfill this great commission has been place inside of you. All you need to do is to talk to the giver of these seeds on how best to take care of them. Like the emphasis in the first issue of this topic, as a woman you must live a life of prayer, which is being in constant communication with your maker so as to be able to understand your purpose and fulfill it. There is no shortcut to this, if you are to fulfill the real purpose in the heart of God concerning you on earth.

Often times than none, we complain about the horrible things that is happening in our society, leadership, body of Christ and the world as a whole but we forget that there is no society, leadership, body of Christ  and the whole world that did not originate from the family.

Family life is the origin of mankind, the pivotal foundation from which the society, leadership and the body of Christ springs from.

We quickly forget that there can be no society or body of Christ without the family yet the truth is that every man, every depraved woman or every delinquent child that makes us despair for the sanity of our society and sanctity of our churches today comes from a certain family.

It is within the family that the human life begins and often closes its earthly pilgrimage. Here it is trained for this world and disciplined for the world that is to come; here the seed of thoughts are sown and the young ideas are taught to shoot; here the gems of those principles are implanted, that is to be the future of our being; here the boy is trained to be the man and the bud of feminine virtue and loveliness beneath the watchful and loving eyes of the parents blooms into the full flower of the future woman and finally, the family which is the cradle of greatness where the sacred ark emerges from: the pulpit and the bench, the senate, the university and the national services etc

You as a woman need to see and understand the importance of your role as a custodian of God’s seed in that family you are placed. This is not a task that can be taken anyhow or with your human strength or knowledge. This is a task that must be God involved. God is the owner and giver of this seed, so he should never be left out of caring for them.

Every Christian family ought to be a little church, consecrated to Christ and wholly influence and governed by his laws.

As a woman you are ordained to nurture that seed in your custody spiritually, physically and emotionally. Your children are not meant to be nurtured by maids, family members, friends or even your parents. Your parents have done their own part of raising you and now it is your turn to nurture those precious seed in your care and ensure they bruise the head of the serpent.

To be able to take proper care of God’s seed in your custody, you need to do these

1)   Spiritually - You are meant to pray for them and also teach these children how to talk to God. The best way to effectively imbibe this principle and lifestyle into them without struggle is to live an exemplary lifestyle. Children learn best by observation around them.

When was the last time your child or children see you praying, studying the Word of God or worshiping God?

2)   Physically - To be able to successfully care for these seeds you need to monitor what they eat. Many women have left the physical nurturing of their children to their maids or people around them in the name of being busy with other things.

You as a custodian of God’s seeds should at every point in time know the state of these precious seeds physically. What are they eating and drinking? Is it nutritionally balanced? How about their clothes, hair and teeth? Who are their friends and confidants? What kind of movies are they watching and how is it influencing their lives?

3)   Emotionally - How close are you to your children? Is your work, ministry, career, business or friends taking the best of your time and you don’t spend quality time with your child/children or family anymore. When last did you tell that child how precious and special he or she is? If you as the custodian fail to tell them often how special and loved they are someone or something out there would fill that vacuum. This is one of the serious and compulsory duties that has been given to you as their custodian.

You as a mother and woman must ensure that your home is filled with love, care and the presence of the Holy Spirit so as to fulfill your main purpose of being these seeds’ custodian. You might say it’s not easy, you can’t understand what I am facing every day? Sister that is why you need to constantly ask the giver of these seeds to help you, strengthen you and lead you on how to handle and nurture these seed. There is always a way of escape for every challenge (1 Corin 10:13). Talk to the manufacturer and giver of these precious gifts and He would download the instructional manual on how to effectively handle these seeds.
