WOMEN OF IMPACT IN THE BIBLE (SERIES 4)

WOMEN OF IMPACT IN THE BIBLE (SERIES 4)

Hello Awesome Woman of Faith, it is the concluding part of this inspiring series and i pray that you wont just be the reader or hearer of the word but the doer of it so that your profiting may appear unto all.

Esther (Esther 4:15-16; 5:1-8; 7:1-10)

Esther, an orphan and slave in a foreign country was taken into the kings palace to be turned into one of his harem women and yet became the great queen who delivered Israel from extinction.

How the supposed dumb, slave beauty pageant with no background could was able to be made queen which later became a mighty instrument in the hand of God Almighty?

v She was teachable: Esther humbled herself to learn and follow the instruction of the person in charge of the harem even the one of her uncle Modecai not thinking she is in palace and he is just a common gate mate.
She followed and listened to instructions from Modecai even when she has become queen. She has a teachable spirit.

Which authority figure instructions are u ignoring that is crucial to destiny?

v She was fearless: Being fearless or bold in the face of a challenge is a mark of greatness. Even when Esther knows the danger involved in going to see the king without being summoned, she went knowing that the deliverance of Israelites depends on it.
She took the step of faith and God honored it.

Which step or action to greatness are you stalling on?

v She put God first: She fasted and prayed for God’s help before she headed out to meet the king. She didn’t trust in her own beauty, eloquent or position but in Gods’ and He intervened.
Esther was a woman of God first before a queen and she showed that in her order of actions.

v  She package herself for Favour: “Favour is a function of your packaging”--- Akinyemi Davids
Esther approached the king in a royal robe and she was granted audience by the king. Her attitude determined her altitude.
Humans are moved by physical sight and God is moved by the motive of the heart.

What do God see in your heart and what message is your outlook sending to people?

Esther though a beauty queen with no business with the nation’s matter in her days took responsibility and corresponding actions which results in the greatest deliverance of Israelite from extinction plotted by the Devil. She crushed the head of the serpent in her generation and through her hand Israelites were preserved.

All of these women though from different background, faced different challenges but had something in common, they impacted their generation.
They walked through history and left their footprint in the sand of times.
They made themselves “Available” for the masters use despite their weaknesses.

They were ORDINARY women who did EXTRAORDINARY things.

They were women of impact in the Bible.

They are DEBORAH, RAHAB and ESTHER.

Do you desire to be like them?

Yes You Can; Yes You Will if only you will make yourself available.

Availability matters to God more than Ability.

Women Of Impact In The Bible {Series 2}

                       Women Of Impact In The Bible {Series 2}

Come on Now! Pearl of the Most High. Fasten your seat belt and lets take this journey which will break that limitations, expand your mind and sharpens your spirit and vision to be all that God has ordained you to be.

Sister lets go there >>>>>>

                                RAHAB (Joshua 2: 1- 22; 6:22 - 25)

Rahab was what the world would call “loosed” woman, prostitute, whore etc.
She was judged and already condemned by her lifestyle. She was a shame and a by – word in her community and to her family. Despite all of these she became the great grand mother of our lord Jesus Christ.

How did this condemned woman rose to such a status of greatness when even the so called righteous or society approved women never did make this great list?

What were the steps or actions that she took that made God Almighty to be aware of her and consciously put her on such a great lineage?

These are the critical questions you must ask yourself as a woman because if Rahab the harlot can make such great impact in her generation then you with lesser or no stigma should do much more.
What kind of life are you living now? Is it praise worthy and inspiring? Can you impact people around you positively? Can you be a sign post to a sinner or an unbeliever in your neighborhood?

You are not placed on this earth to just sleep, eat, work and marry alone. You are here for a reason and purpose. You are here to impact your world positively.
You are not permitted to come and leave this earth without your impact and presence being felt and if you do you would have wasted the greatest investment of God that ever existed.

Your life and existence is made to affect and effect changes in your generation.

So what were the things Rahab did that made such great impact and changed her status for ever?

v  She was discerning: Rahab  knew the God of Israel was the only true God and above all; so when she met the spies she hid them bearing in mind that its was the Almighty God that sent them and even when the king of the land was searching for them. She hid them because she discerned that there is a greater purpose why they came. She wasn’t the only one who heard the stories about the Israelites but she was discerning enough to know that they have a great God and made the Jericho victory possible.

v  She believed: she believed in the power and mightiness of the God of Israel and also in His existence through various testimonies she heard. Rahab was not the only one who heard these testimonies but she chooses to believe and have faith even in a God that she has yet to know or have an encounter with. Her faith saved not only her but also her household.

v  She obeyed: when the spies told her the requirements needed for her not to perish with the rest in the land she obeyed. She did not delay neither was she lazy about it instead she obeyed promptly obeyed and did what is needed to be done. She tied the red piece of cloth on her window and stayed in the house with her family and so they were saved.

v  She forsaketh all: even after the fall of Jericho, she did not look back but forsaketh all that she is used to and pursue a new life with the high God Himself. A pagan prostitute through her “ discernment, faith, obedience and determination” end up in the lineage of our Lord Jesus Christ and was an instrument God used to bring down the camp of His enemy.

Can he say the same of you?

These women had like passion like you but yet still rose above their challenges, environments, and weaknesses and dealt a mighty blow to the head of the serpent in their time. They tapped into this great grace that has been deposited inside of them from the beginning by God Almighty in the Garden of Eden

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Gen 3:15

They fulfilled the great mandate that God announced concerning woman race on that day. They bruised and crushed the head of the serpent (Devil) in their generation through the mighty works wrought by their hands.

These were mighty women of faith that stood where men fear to stand and they not only stood but they made formidable impact which even thousands of years after were still felt.

When u look through the Bible as a woman you will always find examples of women that have walked the same path you are walking, been through all you are going through yet still rose above those limitation and set the pace for what God can do in impossible cases.

These women went through all of these so that you can have examples and be able through their footprint navigate through those challenges too.

All these events happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us, who live at the time when this age is drawing to a close. 1 corn 10:11

Woman, no matter what you are going through or where you have been and what you have done God has a special place in his heart for you and He loves you like that anyway!
